Australian Avocados

 

 

Avocados are a special type of fruit that is not only beneficial to the heart but also provides the body with important nutrients. The sugar content in an avocado is little while containing lots of fiber in it. An avocado does not contain any salt content yet it contains thiaimine, riboflavin, niacin, and magnesium. Avocados are packed with Vitamins A, C and E. Whilst these vitamins are extremely important in building a strong immune system and fighting body viruses, they also work wondrous on one's skin health. Apart from that, avocados do not contain any unsaturated fats and are therefore very beneficial to the heart.

 

 

Avocadoes in Australia are widely cultivated and is often used in making dishes such as salads and sweet pastries such as ice creams and cakes.

 

In year 2016 and 2017, Australia exported a total of 2,323 tons of avocados. In the past 10 years, 80% of Australia's avocado exports were exported to Asean countries such Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and China. In China, the main export destination for Australia's avocados is Hong Kong.
